During WWDC’s lunch session, Jack Greasley The Foundry’s MARI Product Manager introduces MARI for Mac and Pixar’s shading artist, Jonathan Hoffman demonstrates MARI on the new Mac Pro that will be released this fall.
Jonathan Hoffman demonstrates MARI by shading a character from Pixar’s Monsters University all in real time.
All I can say it is amazing to see adjustments that normally would have taken 2 days to do done in a matter of seconds. What this means is that artists can now spend less time on tedious work and more time being creative and focus on details.
I am even more excited to work with the new Mac Pro after seeing this incredible demonstration.
Thank you Pixar and Foundry for showing us the power of the new Mac Pro and a special thanks to Pixar Post for letting me know when this video was released.
