Recently I was invited to do a presentation on the how Motion and Final Cut Pro can work together using Templates. It was a great podcast and Jeff and Sam were great fun to speak with.
In the podcast we went over how simple it can be to create a template in Motion and then use that template inside of Final Cut to speed up the workflow.

Today I found a very nice website called The Final Cut Pro Talent Registry. For starters this site allows Final Cut editors and potential employers to find each other, which I believe any website that helps creatives find work a great idea.
Inside of the website’s blog I found this great tutorial called “Flying around a web page” on how to easily fly your Motion camera around a web page using behaviors. Since the Web Video Template is so popular I thought this tutorial would be a big treat for many of you out there.
The presenter of this tutorial is Doug Suiter whom I believe is an excellent instructor. He has a nice pace and shares some great tips on how rock inside of Apple’s Motion Software.

If you need quick access to all your keyboard shortcuts, then I would recommend you go to your Final Cut top menu and select Tools/Keyboard Layout/Customize, here you will find a list of all your keyboard layouts along with possible actions you can map to your keyboard, you could also customize your keyboard shortcuts to your liking. The list is also categorized so finding a shortcut is easy.
